Well, it’s a problem if your blood pressure is really sky high while exercising. If your blood pressure increases by over 100 points when walking, this can indicate that you may have a problem with high blood pressure in general.
What to Look Out For
If you are walking and notice that your blood pressure is higher, it may be completely normal. It isn’t normal if you also have the following symptoms:
Tightness in the chest. Difficulty breathing. Very high blood pressure. An inability to cool down after exercising. You may feel as though you can’t quite relax after completing your work out.
If you have those symptoms while exercising, it is time to see a doctor.
